Sonoran Sunrise, sometimes called Sonoran Sunset is comprised mostly of Chrysocolla and Cuprite and is a minor ore of copper. The blue/green is Chrysocolla, the Red is Cuprite. It can also have a mixture of Chalcotricite the is orangey red and black which is iron. This mineral is mined in Sonora, Mexico.
Each stone and gemstone is unique, each piece of jewelry created is also.
Natural Stones are not perfect. They may have surface or internal characteristics and color variations. I do my best to take accurate photos to show exactly what you will receive. Colors will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
*NOTE: Wire weaving and wrapping is a genre of jewelry that requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain it’s shape, however if you try to bend it or it gets squished, it will bend. Do not place your wire woven or wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket.
