Labradorite Earrings

A unique pair of Antiqued Copper Labradorite earrings. These earrings have been hand crafted with great attention to detail, they’ve been polished and treated to maintain and protect the finish. These earrings measure 2 1/8″ from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the Labradorite drops and are 1″ wide.

Labradorite is found near Paul’s Island close to the town of Nain in Labrador, Canada.  It has also been reported in Norway, Finland and various other locations worldwide.  The mineral occurs in mafic igneous rocks and is the feldspar variety most common in basalt and gabbro.

Labradorite can display an iridescent optical effect known as labradorescence.  Labradorization is the peculiar reflection of the light from sub microscopical planes orientated in one direction, they are not directly visible under the microscope.

Each stone and gemstone is unique, each piece of jewelry created is also.

Natural Stones are not perfect. They may have surface or internal characteristics and color variations. I do my best to take accurate photos to show exactly what you will receive. Colors will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
