Chrysocolla generally appears in clusters like grapes or in a crust. More often than not they are inter-grown with Opal, Quartz, Malachite, Azurite and/or Turquoise. In ancient lore, the Egyptians called Chrsoycolla the “Wise Stone of Conciliation” and reassurance throughout the world. As legend reports, those who wore this stone generally came up with clever compromises in all types of situations.
Each stone and gemstone is unique, each piece of jewelry created is also.
Natural Stones are not perfect. They may have surface or internal characteristics and color variations. I do my best to take accurate photos to show exactly what you will receive. Colors will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
*NOTE: Wire weaving and wrapping is a genre of jewelry that requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain it’s shape, however if you try to bend it or it gets squished, it will bend. Do not place your wire woven or wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket.
