Arizona Wild Horse is a mixture of Magnesite and Hematite (an iron mineral) and so far has only been found in the Gila Wilderness Area in Southern Arizona, first showing up in the mid 1990’s. The stone is generally very white with purple hues, browns or rosy browns running through the white Magnesite.
Each stone and gemstone is unique, each piece of jewelry created is also.
Natural Stones are not perfect. They may have surface or internal characteristics and color variations. I do my best to take accurate photos to show exactly what you will receive. Colors will vary slightly from one computer monitor to another.
*NOTE: Wire weaving and wrapping is a genre of jewelry that requires pliable wire to be shaped into each piece. As a piece progresses, the wire hardens and sometimes it is hammered to further strengthen a piece. It will retain it’s shape, however if you try to bend it or it gets squished, it will bend. Do not place your wire woven or wrapped jewelry in a purse or pocket.
